Support the USA/AKC World Team as they go for the gold in Finland by purchasing a World Team Tryout Total Access Pass & DVD. Approximately half of the price of every purchase goes directly to the AKC Agility World Team.

The coverage will be similar to what I did with FCI 2007, but even better with a host of new features. Including favorites, playlists, comments, and zipped up downloads of each class. And since it is a much smaller event I plan on providing more extras beyond just the video of every run.

Another big change is the planned DVD will be more documentary style. I recently watched the documentary produced by Kon Ichikawa for the 1964 Olympics hosted in Tokyo, Japan and was very inspired to create something similar. Instead of just a compilation of the runs.

Over $4000 raised so far!

Support the AKC/USA 2008 Dog Agility World Team in their quest for the gold in Helsiniki, Finland.

Already over $4000 has been raised for the USA world team through the sale of videos on this website. The goal is to hit $10,000.

I'm in the process of finishing up the Greatest Agility Event DVD yet made. To go along with what may be the greatest world team ever put together.

You can see a preview of the individual runs section of the forthcoming DVD here.

Order DVD

Many people have been emailing me about just ordering the DVD. I wanted to wait until it is further along, but I will put this up for people to preorder. I don't expect the DVD will be ready to ship until mid June.

My goal with this project is to make the Tryout 2008 DVD the greatest dog agility event DVD ever produced. It is a lofty goal and time will be the judge.

How to Burn DVD

After downloading the videos from AKC World Team Tryouts 2008. You can burn your own DVD of your favorite runs.

I did a write up on how to do this over at Power Paws Live, instead of recreating that article I will just link to it.

Zip files of all Videos Uploaded

I have uploaded 5 zip files and made available through "My Account", then "My Files" all the videos from the Tryouts 2008 event.

Each zip file contains all the videos for one round, one height. The Small and Medium are about 100 megabytes each, the Large about 175 megabytes each.

If you are one of the handful of people who don't have an order in your account and were manually activated. Please email me and I will add the zip files to your account.

This is guaranteed to work, and download pretty fast. Final solution.

Individual Download Links

Now on every video page there is a Download link to download that video. Looks like "Download Video (click right mouse button) (select "Save As")".

Be sure to click on this link with your right mouse button, and select the "save" option from the pop up menu. And then choose where on your computer you want to save it.

Zip files coming soon.

Playlists

I promised Playlists this year as a new feature. And you probably thought it was just marketing hype, to get you to buy the videos.

Well my friend, Playlists are here. Now when you play a video, in the left sidebar there are two new blocks. The first lists all the other videos of that dog. The second lists all the other videos in that same class.

Now you can just play video after video. Without having to hunt for the next one to play. You could spend hours doing this.

Time for bed. I can sleep well now knowing that you have your Playlists.

Final Results PDF

Here is a PDF with all the results by round, both individual and cumulative.

Please Read: QuickTime option enabled.

After some investigation I agree that video playback in Flash seems a little jerky at times. It seems to be a problem with latest Flash player I was reading on the web.

So I have enabled the option to choose whether you would like to use QuickTime or Flash Player.

You do this by going to "My Account", click "Edit" tab, then click "Video Player" tab and select your preferred video player. Be sure to save.
